What do I do with my animal after I kill it?
For deer, freeze or get to a taxidermist as soon as possible.
For birds, do not put in a bag or put the head under the wing. Lay out long ways like a rug and then freeze until hard and then put it in a bag.
For fish, roll up in a wet or damp towel being careful of fins. Then put it in a plastic bag and freeze.
Most animals if wrapped properly are good up to six months. Although there is a risk of the animal freeze drying.
